The female debut rapper, Nicki Minaj is happy with her victory during the Brit Awards. The trending entertainer worked  with the Little Mix and together took the award for the Best Artist Video of The Year just last week Wednesday being February 20.

Nicki was actually absent on the day of the event and the honor really took her aback. Nicki obviously has became the second female rapper to win the Brit Award. Lauryn Hill is still the first female singer to win the award in 1997.

It’s also clear that Nicki din’t hear the news in time, probably didn’t travel fast enough from London.

The “Barbie Tingz” crooner actually had her own moment of happiness a couple of days past the actual event. Nicki shared an image of Little Mix rejoicing on the stage this past Friday.

We may say that the image title showed wonder and thankful heart, she asked; “When was someone gonna tell me?”

The event took place at 02 arena and although Nicki couldn’t attend, Little Mix however with their hit track, managed to pull a very stunning performance.

They called in Ms Banks to feature in place for her fellow artiste. The decision was only normal and natural, judging by Minaj’s willingness to go for the fresh talent. Two years back, 2017, she handed props to Banks through her social media account.

In a brief interview, Ms Banks explained, “I’d had a show in Leeds the night before and I was waking up quite early to take a train back to London and I just saw loads of tweets saying congratulations and I just was really confused”, “I saw a few tweets that had Nicki involved but I didn’t get it, and then I just saw she’d been quoting my lyrics and I couldn’t believe it”.
